Gaia V2: Rebuilt from the ground up
A completely new generation engine, the Gaia Edit canvas, and a digital twin that learns your design language.

We launched Gaia V1 to prove that AI could generate architectural-quality images. It could. But it was rough — slow, unpredictable, and missing the studio workflow that professional architects actually need. V2 fixes that.
New generation engine
V2 ships with Gemini 2.5 Flash as the primary model — 3× faster than V1, with significantly improved spatial reasoning and material rendering. We also rewrote the prompt pipeline from scratch, adding style extraction, reference image blending, and adaptive creativity controls.
Gaia Edit
The most-requested feature since day one. Gaia Edit is a canvas-first editing environment where you paint a mask over any part of your generated image and describe what you want there instead. Repaint a façade material. Add greenery to a courtyard. Swap the furniture without touching the architecture. The mask respects the spatial logic of the scene.
- Brush + eraser with adjustable size
- 20 preset transformations (vegetation, materiality, lighting, scale)
- Full edit history with thumbnail filmstrip
- Undo up to 20 strokes
- Export any edit as a new generation for further iteration
The digital twin
Every generation you make teaches Gaia something about your design language. V2 introduces the digital twin — a persistent model of your preferences, style signatures, and project contexts. Over time, Gaia's default suggestions shift to match how you actually work, not how a generic AI assumes architects work.
V2 also ships with Research mode — a compliance-aware intelligence that can answer questions about building regulations, material specifications, and project constraints, all grounded in your project context.
